MINUTES of 4th Meeting (2^nd face to face and hybrid meeting)

03-04^th March, 2022 Nitra, Slovakia

Purpose:

• to discuss the latest improvements in the Zero-Waste project,
• to evaluate the last 15 months activities in the second face to face meeting,
• to discuss on training content, modules, case sudies, and cross checking evaluation of the modules, translation for Q1A3,
• to present the strategy for Q1A4- Waste education guide for adult educators and teachers,
• to present improvement in Q2A1, website statistics, OERs environment and the e-learning platform,
• to discuss the planned activities for Q2A2-Zero Waste Circular Economy Adult Training ToolBox,
• to discuss on Q2A3-Policy Library: Latest European policies on zero waste CE, policy advice from partners and stakeholders,
• to present the template for Q3A1- Entrepreneurship Manual for zero waste CE
• to discuss the Dissemination and Quality management reports for last 15 months,
• to present the Multiplier Event Strategy
• to present the needs for the management and financial issues,
• to plan for next face to face TPMs,
• to discuss on the third progress report,
• to create a timetable for next 6 months activities.

Outcomes:

• the finalized the module preparation (Q1A3) and cross-checking methodology,
• the planned activities for Q1A4,
• the discussed improvements on Q2A1,
• the planned activities for Q2A2, Q2A3 and Q3A1,
• defined OERs and e-learning platform,
• defined dissemination and quality management reports for last 15 months,
• defined deadlines for the next six months activities, tasks and deadlines.

REPORT OF THE 4^th MEETING (2^nd face-to face- meeting) OF PARTNERS IMPLEMENTING THE Zero-Waste PROJECT

On 03-04.03.2022, the 4th meeting was held in Nitra, Slovakia organized by the SPU. The meeting was the second face-to-face meeting. However, FUE-UJI from Spain were participated online Zoom meeting in the meeting as hybrid meeting type.

The meeting agenda was divided in three main sessions:

• Opening session,
• Review of the Intellectual Outputs, Disseminations, Quality Management Report and Multiplier Events,
• Closing session.

Opening session:

The meeting was opened and started by SPU, Prof. Dr. Zuzana Palkova who welcomed the project partners and presented the program of the meeting. Dr. Metin Akbulut gave welcome message and presented the latest improvements in Zero-Waste project. After welcome speech, each partner made their presentations covering last 15 months improvements, tasks for  Intellectual Outputs  and dissemination activities.

Review of the Intellectual Outputs, Quality Management Report, Multiplier Events and Dissemination:

After the presentation of the partners, the project leader Dr. Metin Akbulut and Prof. Dr. Ergün Demir from Balıkesir University presented the summary of the tasks, latest improvements in the project, objectives, activities   and   expected   outcomes, partner responsibilities, task timetable according to the meeting agenda. The partners are agreed on the task responsibilities and the deadlines of the project.

Julia Moreira from SWIDEAS (SE) made a general presentation on the improvement in the IQ1- Baseline report and innovative training curriculum. She presented the modules prepared by the partners, made a summary about the modules and indicated the not completed modules by EMKICE (Module 2: Circular economy & Smart waste under the Zero Waste concept) and Karesi Municipality (Module 3: Smart cities & Zero Waste concept) . Ilija from EMKICE and Ozgur from Karesi Municipality said that the modules will be ready in a week and uploaded to the Google Drive. The partners were agree to start the cross checking evaluation by March 15. Julia from SWIDEAS will prepare a cross checking evaluation template and sent to the partners.

The responsibilities of the partners for cross checking as follows: The partners were also agree to finish translation of the modules and all training contents by April 15 before 3^rd face to face meeting in Macedonia.  These training contents will be first tested in Macedonia with the Multiplier Event in June.

Dr. Metin Akbulut presented the latest improvements in Q2A1- Development of the ICT related resources – training portal and software tools . He indicated that the OERs and the e-learning platform is almost ready to upload the training materials and to develop the courses. He also presented the website. He presented the latest statistics for the project website, social media accounts and indicated to increase users, likes, shares and visitors to the website and the social media accounts.

Prof. Dr. Zuzana Palkova and Julia Moreira presented the plan for the Q2A2-Zero Waste Circular Economy Adult Training ToolBox. They presented the plan, templates and details for the activity.

Maria Ventura from FUE-UJI presented the methodology for the nex activity, Q2A3-Policy Library: Latest European policies on zero waste CE, policy advice from partners and stakeholders.

Prof. Dr. Zuzana Palkova made a presentation on Q3A1- Entrepreneurship Manual for zero waste CE. The partners agreed to start to prepare it after finishing and uploading the training content  to the platform.

Dissemination report for 15 months period of time was presented by the Ozgur Aycil, Karesi Municipality. He pointed out that the the partners must organize face to face disseminations with target groups and increase disseminations in each partner country.

Prof. Dr. Ergün Demir from BAUN presented the Quality Management Report for last 15 months. He said a delay in the Q1A3. The partners agreed to prolonge timetable 1 months for this activity and finish it on 15 April, 2022.

Management, administrative, financial issues and the needs for the midterm report were presented by the coordinator.

Closing session:

The partners made a timetable for next 6 months activities, responsibilities and deadlines are the following:

‘The minutes were prepared for 4th meeting (2^ndt face-to-face and hybride meeting) for Zero-Waste project organized by SPU, in Nitra, Slovakia, on 03-04 March, 2022. Partners were of the same opinion to accept and sign the minutes of the meeting.
